A mirror to encourage movement and exploration. With convex/concave dips and curves the Soft Frame Sensory mirror aims to invite close inspection as well as standing back for chuckles. Bending, stretching, finger pointing, discussion are all encouraged as children to get close and examine their reflections which appear differently across the reflective surface.
Available in a wide range of colours including Calm and “Scandi” shades.

Comprises (with sizes): 1 x plastic moulded safety mirror with 3 different moulded shapes set in alternating orientations, Dome with dimple, Wave and Convex: each 220mm across x 22mm deep. Overall size 840mm sq. Absorbs impact when struck and will not shatter. Mounted onto a 9mm thick quality plywood back board and finished with a colourful soft padded frame. Use fixed to the wall, (4 wall plate/brackets supplied. Wall screws not supplied). Padded frame 50mm wide x 50mm deep.
Material Specification: Mirror EN71 safety non shatter plastic. Passes ASTM 1 metre on edge drop test. Frame: EN71. Sewn with eco-Play latex free coated vinyl, waterproof, wipe clean, fire retardant, phthalate free. Fillings CFC free CMHR fire retardant soft foam (Crib 5). BS 7176 Contract Furnishing (Low Risk) Cigarette and Match.
Use/Safety Notes: INDOOR USE ONLY. Clean only with domestic furniture polish or damp cloth, never with abrasive cleaner which will damage the mirror. Caution: direct sunlight reflected in mirrors can cause a dazzle hazard or an ignition source always perform a risk assessment when selecting a location for a mirror indoors or out. Frame is not designed to be pulled on. Mount at a height above floor appropriate to the height and age of the group using the mirror.
